Braggadocio
Braggadocio is a small town in the Bootheel of Missouri, just a hoot and a holler from Shake Rag and Dog Skin. Where when I was growing up to pass time we use to watch the grass grow! For a kid in the 50's it was heaven on earth. Where the only rule was be home by suppertime and it was safe to go as far as your heart's desire exploring pastures, sometimes pissing off the occasion bull who would run us up a tree so we just had to have our picnic up a tree! Over the next months I hope to share bits and pieces of my memories of Braggadocio and hope others will supply their memories of this little town at the crossroad of life.
